2. Service Description

InboxGuardianAI is a security-focused software service that connects to authorized email accounts (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo) to monitor incoming messages for phishing, scams, and malicious content. The Service may:

• Scan inboxes for threats
• Automatically move suspicious emails to a quarantine folder
• Send a summary digest to a designated email address

You retain full control over your email account and may revoke access at any time via your provider's OAuth settings.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and authorized access to email accounts
• Use the Service only for its intended purpose (security monitoring)
• Not misuse the Service to scan accounts without appropriate consent

You are solely responsible for the configuration of your email accounts and digest preferences.

4. Privacy and Data Handling

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. In brief:

• We do not store email content
• We use access tokens only to perform threat detection
• We never sell or share your data with third parties
• You may request deletion of your account data at any time

5. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your access credentials and any multi-factor authentication (MFA) devices or methods used to access the Service. We recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling MFA.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer or tamper with the Service
• Use the Service to scan accounts without proper consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our systems
• Use the Service for any illegal or abusive activity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these rules.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Reliability or availability
• Accuracy of phishing or scam detection

While we strive to provide a secure and effective tool, we do not guarantee that all malicious emails will be detected or quarantined.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InboxGuardianAI and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data
• Missed or quarantined legitimate emails
• Security breaches due to third-party platforms

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms or abuse the system.

Upon termination:

• Your access tokens will be invalidated
• Configuration data will be deleted (upon request or within a reasonable period)

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
